Villas Azul is perfect to cocoon in a safe beach and rainforest private home. All rooms in each villa have full ocean views. The beach is a 10 minute stroll and mostly deserted. Nearby restaurants have open air dining or take out. We can arrange a rental car or a private car service from the airport.

Costa Rica has re-opened to tourism with Covid protocols. Villas Azul is located on the South Pacific coast in a rural province without large population centers or high rise buildings yet with a world class, modern hospital only 20 minutes away.

Villas Azul is on a high point overlooking the Pacific located midway between the small villages of Uvita and Ojochal directly on Playa Ballena with its own private walkways to the beach.

Azul offers a conscious blend of relaxed luxury getaway and inspiring adventure. A place where the stunning ocean view villas are only surpassed by the pristine beaches and the lush rain forest that surround them. Azul overlooks Ballena Beach’s world-famous Marine National Park, with close proximity to dining, yoga, waterfalls, hikes, surfing, and more!

Newly built in 2020, designed and inspired by modern Balinese architecture. Our three private villas offer guests true luxury and a zen like experience of home in a tropical paradise.

Feel the fresh ocean breeze and take in the ocean views from every room, including our master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and outdoor rainfall showers.  Each villa has a great room, full kitchen, and high speed internet.

Enjoy a variety of nearby innovative local cuisines or simply hang back and prepare a meal from your own fully equipped private kitchen. Relax and dine under the stars with family and friends.

Private Villas
Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, our three newly built Bali inspired villas have identical layouts. Each has two master bedrooms each with a queen bed, a coffee bar, refrigerator, ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, and high speed wifi. Between the master bedrooms there is a great room with a full kitchen, living and dining room, full bathroom and sleeping loft for two additional guests. Each villa sleeps 6 persons comfortably.

Take a short stroll to Ballena beach through our private rainforest walkways while capuchin monkeys swing by at sunset. Villas Azul is a natural haven, perfect for enjoying nature and discovering wildlife from the comfort of your home away from home.
